Lego Loop and Learn (Gr. 3-5)
In LEGO Loop & Learn, students use LEGO bricks to explore the fundamentals of computational thinking. They’ll learn to create and describe sequences, break problems into smaller steps, identify cause and effect, and experiment with simple loops. Through hands-on LEGO challenges, testing, and “debugging” their builds, students discover how to make their programs work as intended—all while helping characters complete fun adventures. Collaborative storytelling and sharing their strategies also strengthen communication and teamwork skills. Outcomes: Students will develop early computational thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration skills by building, sequencing, looping, and debugging LEGO challenges while explaining their strategies to peers.
