Week 1: Urban Nature Explorers- Discovering Urban Nature
A fun, hands-on summer course where kids discover the nature in their own neighborhood! Students search for insects, explore trees and plants, create Nature Explorer Journals, learn about BIPOC urban naturalists, and map local habitats—all while building curiosity, observation skills, and a love for the outdoors.
