Week 7: Innovation Explorers- Community Impact Startup (Gr. 6-9)

In Community Impact Start Up, students become changemakers by exploring how businesses can solve real community challenges. Kids learn to identify problems in their community and design service-based ventures that help people in meaningful ways.

Students practice working with partners and stakeholders, communicating their ideas clearly, and building a strong mission. Along the way, they discover careers such as nonprofit leader, social entrepreneur, and public service professional, while learning business skills like mission statements, measuring impact, and understanding grants.

This course builds empathy, leadership, and problem-solving—perfect for kids who want to make a difference.
