Intermediate Crochet
This six week intermediate crochet class is designed for those comfortable with the basics. You'll learn techniques like post and shell stitches plus deep dive into topics like gauge and yarn fiber uses. There will be a guided project making a mesh tote bag and time to bring your own project to get help from the instructor.
Supplies needed for class:
1. Worsted weight yarn (4 weight). Photo sample uses less than 170 grams of Big Twist Value Acrylic - in a variety of colors. Instructor sample is acrylic but a cotton or cotton blend will hold the shape better over time and stretch less.
2. Hook appropriate for your yarn. This is flexible. Instructor sample is approximately 12"" x 12"" (w/o handles) using a 5 mm hook and 4 weight yarn. A smaller or larger hook will change the final size.
3. Stitch marker and scissors
4. pen/pencil and paper to take notes
