Parenting for Racial Justice: Two Part Series

Racism is a complex system that is less about individual peoples' actions and more about our society as a whole.  In order to teach our children about racism and to have ongoing meaningful discussion, we much first educate ourselves. Join us for this two part series about racism and parenting.

Part 1:  The Parents

Explore specific examples as they relate to children and our educational system. Create space for self-reflection with the goal of allowing you to have meaningful conversations with our children.

Part 2: The Children

It is up to parents to start having conversations about race early and continue to discuss these issues. Explore ideas about how to have these tough conversations with children of all ages and attitudes.
