The next three sessions we will talk about sketching in, composition, and mixing colors for a fall palette. Belly Dance for AllDance & TheatreDiscover the beauty and grace of Middle Eastern Dance, commonly called Belly Dance. This is more than an exercise class. Belly Dance is an exciting way to improve fitness, tone and flexibility. This class is for beginners and the more experienced students looking to improve the basic techniques and movements. Previous dance experience is not necessary. All ages and sizes are welcome. *Wear comfortable, fitted clothing so your movements can be seen. Hip scarves are encouraged and welcome. If you have zills and a veil, bring them too! Dancewear and bare feet are typical. Dance shoes are welcome, but no tennis shoes. Feel Free to try a class and drop in for a pro-rated Fee! Bring the Wok Home: Healthy Asian Rice BowlsTasteSkip the takeout—learn to make bold, healthy Asian rice bowls in 30 minutes or less. Create Teriyaki, Honey garlic and Gochujang-glazed chicken using one simple cooking method you can use again and again. You’ll also learn an easy approach to cooking veggie sides, plush tips for flavor, marinating and meal prep—no deep frying required. Fast, fresh, and better than takeout.Equipment Needs: Well seasoned or non-stick wok optional. While cooking-along is loads of fun, and highly recommended, it is optional. This class will take place on Zoom, free online software. Participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting. A list of ingredients and class details will be received in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. The Instructor’s Personal Recipe from this class will be included in a professionally made PDF packet to be received by participants after the class. NOTE: The instructor’s recipes are copyrighted and are only shared with those who register for this class. Or noticed that your shoulders and upper back are too rounded forward? You’ll learn simple techniques to improve posture and stand straighter. We’ll do exercises to help flatten the upper back, un-round shoulders and flatten your midsection. Learn how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and how to re-gain bone mass. We’ll discuss the latest research findings on nutrition, minerals and trace minerals needed for bone health; foods that help and/or harm your bones and more. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
