We will paint fall trees/landscapes and harvest from gardens. The first class will be on basics: papers, brushes, color mixing, techniques. The next three sessions we will talk about sketching in, composition, and mixing colors for a fall pallette. Students will be able to complete two paintings. *A $35 supply fee will need to be paid to the instructor the first night of class.

Drawing is shown in three methods: Grid , Basic Shapes, & Constant line/Gesture. We will learn to use a certain method when drawing from photos...the Grid. When drawing from life we use basic shapes, line/gesture. Instructor will use H & B pencils, different methods of shading, light sourcing, and texture methods. *A $15 supply fee will need to be paid to the instructor the first night of class.
