Creature Dex Creation (Gr. 3-5)

Creature Dex Creation is a creative enrichment course for students in grades 3–5 who love imaginative worlds and collectible creatures. Inspired by the idea of building your own Pokémon-style universe, kids will design original creatures from scratch—thinking about appearance, abilities, habitats, and personalities.

Through drawing, writing, and creative design activities, students will build their own “Creature Dex,” strengthening artistic skills, storytelling, and critical thinking along the way. This class focuses on creativity and originality while tapping into kids’ love of creature collecting and world-building—perfect for young designers and storytellers ready to invent something entirely their own!
